考虑到某些朋友可能讨厌看E文，特做如下翻译：
1、结婚前，男人还没有长成真正的男人，婚姻完成了男人的成长。
2、婚姻是一所大学，男人在这所大学里失去学士学位－－单身身份，女人则获得硕士学位－－成为主人。（注：原文的妙处是一语双关－－"bachelor" 在英文中既可以翻译成“单身汉 "又可以翻译成学士学位，“master”既可以是“主人”也可以是“硕士”，可惜中文无法体现）
3、一个小男孩问他父亲：“爸爸，结婚要花多少钱？”爸爸回答：“我也不知道，儿子。到目前为止，我一直没停止支付。”

呵呵，兰亭是太怜香惜玉了，先入为主总以为是女人让男人成为真正的男人，故未曾体会到第一句话"finished" 的双关意思。细思之，老树翻译得应更符合作者一语双关的隐意。
